I want to be a fireman, a lawyer, a doctor, a plumber. We all have aspirations for our lives. Likely, you have invested a lot of time considering them. What about holiness? Have you ever aspired to be holy like God? Should you? Ephesians 5:1 says, “Therefore, be imitators of God.” The apostle Paul taught that Christians should aspire to live a life of holiness like God. If you are wondering what it means to live holy like God, don’t worry. In verses 2-5, Paul details some specific areas for us to begin working on. He concludes with a warning about things that might get in the way of our aspiration in verses 6-7.
